This is Clancy from the animated series "The Midnight Gospel." As someone who is really into podcasts and loves cartoons, this show has become my favorite cartoon series. I animated Clancy from reference and had him do a simple head turn as he looks around and opens his mouth. Figuring out how the hat should turn was probably the most interesting part since for the most part Clancy is very flat and 2D except for the hat. Drawing each frame was meticulous but definitely worth the work. Overall I am very satisfied with how it turned out!
